COMPETENCIES

  • Participants will increase their knowledge about the service coordination system and the services that are available in DC for individuals with disabilities and their families
  • Participants will gain first-hand experience attending a city-wide summit, and participate in small group discussions with other attendees and presenters
  • Participants will participate and interact with committees or groups to work/plan for common goals
  • Participants will create a personal vision statement to help focus their short and long term  advocacy goals
